For Layton Weedeman, rhythm isn’t just a pulse—it’s a point of connection. As a drummer, composer, and producer with roots in jazz, hip-hop, and global traditions, the New York–based artist has spent over 20 years turning collaboration into his creative compass. Now, through his evolving platform Yellow Couch Music, Weedeman channels that ethos into something more than a sound: a space where groove, improvisation, and community converge.
